2 venues under one roof. The Howlin' Wolf is a 1200 capacity venue that hosts all types of music and events. Next door at The Howlin' Wolf Den, enjoy a delicious selection of food and over 20 beers on tap.
From its debut on Dec. 8, 1988, in a small, L-shaped room in Fat City to its current home in a 1,200-capacity Warehouse District space, the Wolf has evolved into one of the city's premier live music venues, presenting a mix of local and national rock, funk, hip hop, comedy, and roots music.
Today, The Howlin' Wolf runs two venues, one in the CBD and one in the Northshore, and manages New Orleans' own Rebirth Brass Band, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk and The Revivalists.
